Brian has been diving almost two decades and has been a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer for 10 years. With a broad set of teaching and diving experiences, he is prepared to assist divers from any skill level to achieve new goals and have great fun on trips.
Howard Mount
A dive maniac, since starting his diving career, Howard seeks every opportunity to go diving and continue to grow his diving skills. It was a natural progression from Open Water Diver to Instructor and as his desire to dive more grows, he will be present in many classes and on many of trips .

Charlie Power
One of our most senior dive masters, Charlie has been diving for over 10 years and has become our resident spear fishing expert.
Ed Green
Ed enjoys working with new divers as they learn the skills to become good divers. You can find him in Panama City Beach many weekends visiting his daughter and grandson and diving.
Chan Whitlow
Deep South Divers mourns the loss of Chan, who passed away unexpectedly in October 2020. Chan had been a diver the longest of any of the DSD staff. He and wife Glynda enjoyed trying new destinations as well as returning to some of our favorite Caribbean spots. He will be greatly missed.
Richard Joiner
The gulf coast and Florida keys are Richard's home away from home. He has extensive experience diving the wrecks in these areas and returns annually to visit his favorite spots.
Corey Dickerson
A father of three boys, Corey is busy at work, at home and diving. Corey is always ready to try new equipment and new desitinations. Some say he may be a little "hard headed"!
Carl Malmquist
As an active member on one of our local search and recovery teams, Carl's heart is in public service and you can find him diving locally for fun and training to insure he is ready when the call comes to support his community.
Tony Bonomi
One of our newest and youngest Dive Masters, Tony is now a student at Auburn University and between studies finds time to get away for a dive trip or a class where he can encourage other young people to get into this awesome sport.
Steve Hollis
An avid traveller! Steve not only is a dive master with Deep South Divers but also preseident of the Delta Air Lines Dive Club. Whether with us or the club he is always on the go diving and leading others on dive experiences.
Steve Traylor
Photography is Steve's specialty. You can always find him with his camera searching for that special shot on our dives. Tec Diving is a new interest as well, join him on a dive to gain valuable knowledge in both of these areas.
Aaron Sweatman
Aaron began diving at 8 years old and although a recent graduate of West Georgia College, has 15 years experience diving and has visited many caribbean destinations. He is as comfortable below the surface as he is on the tee box when enjoying a day of golf.

Selena began her diving career in 1990. She is married to Wade and is a helpmate at Deep South Divers!
